My car runs best on Phillips, Texaco, and Amoco gas, so that is all I put in my car.

I get name brands, but I will usually get the cheapest name brand, ie....Amoco, Exxon, Chevron, Shell

Have only used Chevron so far in the S2000. In my prior cars, usually use Chevron, ExxonMobil, or Shell.

I use Cheveron most of the time, and Phillips 66 the other times.

I never put "no name gas" in my S2000*. Simply because all the independent stations around SoCal are more expensive than the major brands.

Except Arco. I won't put that in my car, period.

*Once I did. At the end of the Devil's Highway run, it was either that or push it another 80 miles. Turned out the gas was pretty good stuff.

I usually only use name brand gas, but the one exception is a big locally based convenience store called QuikTrip that has a good reputation around here for high quality gas. I've never had a problem with their gas and I've been using it for years. When I travel I always stick with the big name brands unless I have absolutely no other choice.
