NYMATT74,
How many kits/car are needed and how much time before it sets, please? (I might want to do my wife's CR-V too when it returns from the body shop tomorrow.)
To Everyone:
What happened to the group buy on caliper decals?

According to the instructions you have about 6 hours to use the paint once you mix the solutions together. After that its no good. They say keep tires off 2 hours before putting them back on and 24 hours for it to completely dry.
Since I jacked up 1 wheel at a time...i removed the wheel...cleaned, gave 2 coats and then carefully put back the wheel and moved to the next one. After i would do 1 wheel i would go back to the previous one and hit it a third time....without removing the rim. I drove it the same day 6 hours later after they were no longer sticky without any adverse effects.
I did the same on my accord and it lasted for the 3 years i had the car. I only got a chip on the caliper after I got my tire replaced by the mechanic at Firestone.

mine are silver too...
a year and a half and they still look like new!
very clean look- red is nice too, but i prefer the more subtle and basically "just clean" look.

They all look great. Silver is a great, understated color for the calipers.
I (with the help of my sons) painted mine silver with the G2 kit a few weeks ago.
If you think the original olive looks bad, one of my collegues has a MY2000 and the calipers are rusting. They look horrible.
I wish I could figure out something (cheap) to do about the rust on the rotors.
