This is definitely true.

I don't know if it is a law everywhere in california, but I know that at least in a few cities it isn't a fix it ticket to not have a front plate, it is just a fine.

In Santa Barbara they give out no front plate tickets as moving, and parking violations. They are both $25 and still require proof of correction as well as the $15 document fee.

I just don't get it. I have never tried to tell a chemist how to do his job. Why do people comment on law enforcement when they know nothing more than what they see on television?
