Denso iridium is thinner then NGK iridium.Denso is size .4 tip NGK is .8 tip.The Denso's wear out quiker so you just have to change them more often.Spoon S2000 uses Denso and JGTC NSX uses NGK so go figure.

When I went to test drive my S, it wouldn't start. I ended up having to test drive an '02 first while they changed the plugs in mine. They said they switched it from the OEM NGKs to Densos because people were having problems with the NGKs. FWIW I didn't buy from Honda, I got my car from the Toy Barn. They know their stuff and specialize in exotics.

Also, you can check out the following NGK iridium plugs:
5068 IFR8H-11, and,
7746 IFR7G-11KS
The 7G is recommended by sparkplugs.com for S2K (06&07, didn't check other years). It claims "special firing end construction", has the right gap, and the same heat range as OEM.
I'm using the 8H (the 7G seems to be new or somehow I didn't find it before). It has the tapered ground, projected tip, and one heat range colder than stock. These appear to have the 0.6mm iridium electrode. (Other NGK iridiums have 0.7 and yet others 0.8... Don't know about hte 7Gs)
Both of these NGK's have iridium and platinum.
(The Densos have the 0.4mm center electrode.)
In the Denso there is the IK22 and the IK22G, which has a slight difference in base of the tip of the center electrode, and I think some recommend it for the S.
