Default NKG Platnium vs. Denso Iridium

Which one is better ? I know Our S come equiped with NGK Platium. However, Its said on the Sparkwires that Denso Iridium is recommended. Thinking about getting a set.

I had bad experience with OEM NGK on my previous engine. One of the sparkplugs tip break off and fried. My engine blews !

Plus its said on the OEM sparkwires that Denso Iridium is recommended. Don't know why they had the NGK Platnium in there.

I replaced mine with Denso IK22 about 10k miles back. At the time I thought the engine had a little extra pep, but it's probably just in my head. I think a few people here have had problems with the Iridiums breaking in their engines, so if that's your reason for wanting to replace them then you might be better off staying with the OEMs, which are NGK Platinum. Be sure to read about the torque specifications and gapping tips somewhere else on this site.
