OMG! That's just amazing! I wonder how many people are going to base a purchase decision on this. It's kind of funny how they slam the S on torque and HP and then post 0-60 times that are 0.5 seconds slower!

My guess is honda will sue the *(&@& out of them. In Texas, that ad is a blatant violation of the deceptive trade practices act. You can't print false statements about a competitor and there are at least two in that one.

As mentioned in a previous thread, I think this document is an internal publication intended to prepare Nissan salespeople for pitching the 350Z. It's not an ad. I wonder if they have similar documents on other cars like the TT or Boxster?

I was suprised that our leg room is superior. The Z is ugly. Plus it's not a convertible. It looks like an Altima with 2 doors. I do like the G35 coupe though. do you think that Infinity will make a convertible of that?

The S2000 is more cramped inside yet it has more leg room.

I'm sure the 350Z is a nice car but they do seem to be trying a little too hard to make it sound better than the S2000. In fact for many people it probably will be a better choice than the hard edged S2000.

Hey folks, this was discussed in some depth in the Car Talk forum. Its just internal propaganda. All auto makers do it to some extent, and it would never be made available to the public. If a potential buyer believes what the salesmen tell them, well, they deserve what they get.

Why are they comparing their coupe to a roadster? People generally do not choose between the two.

This is all BS. They'll do anuthing to sell them right now, because they plan to make a BOATLOAD of them. Did they mention that in the ad??

There is actually no real competition in the same price range for the Z Coupe right now. Maybe a '98 / '99 used Corvette Coupe???

My favorite one was the one about the power to weight ratio. The Nissan being slightly better at 11.6 compared to 11.7 to the S2000. I don't think that .1 pound is going to matter .
