I had my bone stock MY00 up to 159 between Boston and Providence, with the top up of course.

Hmm. Odd people are finding the car unstable at speed. Are your cars moded? Top up or down? I found my bone-stock S very stable at 100+...

I gotta say the same thing about the Benz. If it's not as stable as a rock all the way to the speed limiter then there is something wrong. You can go to sleep in our E320 while riding the limiter at 130 MPH (and there is no way you'll do that in the S2000, because the slightest movement of the steering wheel makes the car change direction and you have to stay very alert).

A properly maintained E320 doesn't feel any less stable at 130 than it does at 20.

That's the way it should be, as long as the car is aligned correctly and the tires are in good condition and inflated to the correct pressure.

If maintained in the proper condition they'll both be stable. The car is designed to be driven more than 65 mph you know. Will a benz be quieter and more plush at speed? sure. Though personally I find the honda to be more communicative and thus to me more secure to be driven fast as I have an idea of what the car is doing.
