people who haven't got a clue what the conditions were like when one of us does something like this.

As long as a driver, when at speed, does not involve any other motorist's, to each his/her own.

Case closed.

147 mph from 35 mph on a 1.4 mile stretch in pure stock form.

:i agree: , very much so.
Unfortunatly there aren't many tracks here in the Netherlands, not like in the US where every one-horse-town has an oval or race track
I wish I could go to autoX events or track days every other weekend or so..
in my little corner in n america they have closed almost all the club tracks because of the republican recession. four of five club tracks have closed.

Very true. At 130 our Benz is so relaxed that you could fall asleep behind the wheel, but the S2000 at the same speed will do anything BUT put you to sleep.

Ive never been quite that fast, but ive been 120-130 roads... Im not gona lie. Deffinatly isnt the smartest thing to do.

My car is set up pretty well, and I see 130-135 at different road coarses. Car perfectly stable (even at max braking from 130mph) with a good alignment

Yeah, attempted manslaughter. Whatever, it was late at night when I posted that. I prefer to steer clear of felony-type situations. I'm too non-hooked up to know what to do about it if ever caught.

Got clocked at 110mph on the 5 in cali. $530 ticket, 2 points on the record. No jail time/ arrest/ lisense suspension. As far as stability dampers+rubber+valentine1=stability and confidence.
