Pretty Neat,
We run a tube down from the air cleaner box - hole cut in it- down to the same compartment.
This is one side of the CAI intakes available from the side ducts.
the other side comes out here.
That is a really simple CAI though - nice work

When I look at the stock (2002) airbox and intake, it looks to me as if we are already set-up with cold-air intake. The intake vent for the airbox is up over the top of the radiator. When the hood closes down over it, there are built in moldings in the hood that prevent warm air from the engine bay from getting in. Furthermore, the intake is forward facing as well, which means you'll get Ram-air effect. I'll stick with the factory CAI.

An even better assembly would be to route the aircleaner away from the radiator and at the base of the CAI tube near the side intake. With the duct that Wes used in his set up you could design it to connect to the filter and keep it higher in the well area. Hmmmmmm!
