If you have a garage, go with the black car. Not having a garage will make it hard for you to keep the car free of dust.

I love BB but the maintanance would be too much. Also love the NFR and actually had one on order in '06 (long story). I say keep the NFR

Black is way too much trouble to keep clean...take it from a BB owner. It's my 2nd fav color choice next to GPW.

black to me is hands down the sexiest color, nothing like a freshly waxed black car.....that being said nothing like spending 4 hours detailing it and noticing its dirty the next day...totally blows

that being said if you dont have a garage 86 the whole black idea, and hop into a GPW!

Added polishing the swirls and light scratches out and you've got yourself a 12 hour job.

assuming you've just washed and used a clay bar, polishing the little S does not take 12 hours, I can see 2 hours max...

when I got my car back from the shop the bastards scratched to hell the fenders, hood and bumper. Paint wasn't scratched, just the clear coat.

Ended up buying a meguiars dual action polisher and some ultimate polish. Made the glass finish even smoother and took out all the lines. I took the most time on the fenders and hood as the rest of the car was in pretty decent condition, but I think I spent an hour polishing, then the little time waxing. Letting the wax sit took the longest.
