newbie here .. new S2000 coupe ?

A real newbie here ... so be gentle.

I currently drive a FairladyZ / 350Z in Japan - NISMO modified. The Z is a great car as is the S2000. I love both cars .. but do not like convertibles.

I have heard rumors in local Japan mags of a new as well as a coupe version of the S2000 possibly coming out. Is there any truth of this that the dedicated following of the Sk2 has heard ?

Well, you could always get the hard top for it, and just leave that on. Then it is a "coupe"

There were rumours in the past about the Mazda MX-5/ Miata coming out in a coupe version. Maybe you are thinking of this?

I've seen some sketches of a coupe version somewhere, but I'm not sure if it will make it out onto production. If they did, I'd be all over that also.
