Hi I am new to this site and I am purchasing an s2000 at the end of the year. I'm getting rid of my 04 CRV. I used to own a 00 prelude also. Both were decent vehicles but I am ready to move on to the next level. I was wondering if I should get a used with decently low miles at about 25k to 28k or a spankin new 04 or 05?

Try going to the ForSale forum under the "Cars" section. That will help you get an idea of what you can get for the criteria you are looking for.

What's up, and welcome to the forum. Good luck on finding your ride. make sure you learn about the difference in model years before you buy. There are basically three divisions:

2000-2001
2002-2003
2004-2005

These three different groups represent subtle, yet significant changes that were done to the car, with the most extreme being done with the 2004-2005 cars. You may already know about these changes, but if not, just ask on this thread and we'll give you more info. It's too much to type if you already know about them.

Depends on what you value, money and time-wise. I wasn't willing to pay the extra $5k or so for added features of a 04/05. But if you can't wait and you got the money, then go for it and buy a brand spanking new one.

If time is not an issue but money is, then look for a deal on a used on. It took me about 3 months to find my car.
