I've created a forum for washing, waxing, polishing and otherwise detailing your babies. These things aren't always stook related but not OT either. The new forum is the right place for these topics.

Cheers.

Can I give a little input?

I find it much easier to look at the posts from a centralized room. I'm interested in all the topics posted here, but I'm finding it more and more difficult to keep track of the posts with all the rooms and post-moves.

I think things are getting a bit too broken-up. I don't thinkg the board has enough volume to justfy the granular organization.

Just my opinion. I still love the board.

I think it is a great idea. By segmenting the topics a little the posts do not roll as quickly so I stand a better chance of catching info on the topics that interest me.

The issue is pretty evenly divided. I do understand both sides. I prefer the split forums personally but I do understand the other preference.

I am going to switch the software from UBB to vBulletin soon. When I do I will introduce a little mod I created that will hopefully solve this problem. It's a feature I call vForums and will allow you to create a customized view of all topics. It allows you to create your own forum catagories which consist of topics from the real forums and have them shown just like they were in their own forum. So, for example, you can create a forum called "Everything" and select all the forums. When you go to the everthing forum, it will be a compilation of all the forums and will look to you like there is only one forum. The only difference is that when you post a new thread you will need to select which real forum it goes in. Otherwise they will look and act the same. It's easier to use than describe but I hope you get the idea. Look for this in the next couple of weeks.
