New top or not prior to sale

I can only say from my perspective if I was purchasing a car
I would appreciate if it had a new top and would definitely be a selling point
in my opinion.

I'd expect a low mileage car to have a top in decent condition, meaning no rips or tears and definitely no leaks. I'd replace the top.
