I'd expect a low mileage car to have a top in decent condition, meaning no rips or tears and definitely no leaks. I'd replace the top.

Thanks Robb. Agreed 100%. When the tear happened I was physically ill. I also have a nice star in the middle of my windshield. Part of the reason I’m selling the car is due to the amount of constant road construction and the ridiculous increase in traffic. I want someone to own this car that can enjoy it as it was intended.
Thank you!
Thank you!

This thread got me thinking about Marketing. Many were saying things like if I were buying I'd want this, or that. I think that is the wrong way to look at something like this.
We can't simply inject ourselves into the position of potential buyer (unless we are in fact looking to make such a purchase). Instead, we need to approach it like a professional actor would. Figure out who the character is we're trying to portray. Understand them. Understand who they are, how they think. Disown ourselves to temporarily become that person.
Then think, what would THAT person want to happen with this cars top before I (as that real buyer) purchase it?
Overlap between Marketing and Acting.

If I were keeping the car I would replace the top with an OEM top at the dealership.
The question now, after a few days on this thread, is "Will I get an extra $2,000 out of this car when it's sold?" And the answer is, of course, up to the buyer.
An alternative just struck me:
Seller (that's you): "Make ya a deal. Pay what I'm asking and I'll have a new roof shipped to you. You'll just need to install it." (Essentially splitting the cost.)
