yu888 is right. We've reviewed this with lawyers and given that this badge is soft material, it's probably safer than the stock badge, which is metal. Also, given the way the airbag deploys, it's unlikely the badge will become a missle. If you order a badge, you will also receive a disclaimer.

Whoops! I didn't read the fine print, your washer is made of rubber!!! When I read the word washer I assumed (big mistake) it was a metal washer. What you have is more like a gasket which should be very safe.

Now, counselor , can you tell me why you are comfortable that these badges are cool with the airbag situation. For example, what is it about the deployment of the airbags that makes you comfortable? Completely innocent question, since I know nothing about air bags. Not looking for legal boilerplate, just looking for a little information, not a huge deal, I'm sure there's no issue here etc. etc. etc. If you'd rather not talk about it because of liability issues, that's cool. I can always just paste the thing onto my tool chest.
