Hey there guys!!! I am new to your website, find it very interesting. Could not find info which i need to know way before i purchase an s2000. Whoever is still reading this, please tell me your AGE and how much you pay for a FULL COVERAGE, and what INSURANCE COMPANY .The reason why i do worry about s2k full coverage cost is because my 01 CIVIC 2DR full coverage price is $233 i am sure its mostly because of my age which is 23, but still guys i would appreciate if you guys could help me out, maybe somebody knows the best insurance company (cheapest)

even if a dude is in the same state and age, the record, priority of driven vehicle/insured vehicle, city, points will varies.

go ask as much quote as possible before you pay, some will list the S2k as a premium car to insure while some just slightly higher than camry/accord.

my registration is about more than half of what i paid for my one year insurance, i am 22 in socal, car listed under my name and insurance under my name only.

 

i think i pay around 360/month, but I have a nice lil driving record with 7 current points and alot more in the past 3 years. plus an accident which wasnt my fault, and a vehicle stolen in the last 6 months..GEESH! lol. Maybe one day it will go down...I can only hope.

 

I am 19, quoted 1040/ 6mo. One citation. You won't get a break until you're 25...

 

25 is the insurance break, that and marriage and plain old good driving record. Not sure, im in the same boat as you but not as fearful. im 26 and driving a celica GT-S for 65 bucks a month Soon to be an S so i doubt it will break 100 a month.

 

You guys all have it WAYYY too easy........I'm 20, from Central Jersey and have gotten two speeding tickets in 05 that have haunted me til this day....I've taken TWO defensive driving course classes and don't even have that many points, maybe 3

What the heck?! A month?! That's WAYYYY too much. I wouldn't touch a sports car at all if I was paying that much...

 

Unfortunately, there are too many variables that go into insurance.. Asking on a public forum won't get you any information that is of any value to you. Your neighbor could have the identical car and pay a completely different premium. Best bet is to go online to a comparison rate site and do some shopping.
