Default New S200 sales continue To decline

May 2005 sales were 697 versus 922 for May 2004. A 24% decline. For the first five month of 2005 sales were 2,973 compared with 3,609 in 2004 for an 18% decline.

Cut it honda cut it, I don't want the s2000 to be like the NSX....

I wonder if it's because of the ap2? after all, the rest of the world still gets the ap1/f20c.

Who cares? Just enjoy the car you have. There has been increased competition in this segment ever since the 350Z came out followed by the RX8, etc, etc... obviously we've all decided we like the S2000 more.

It's a low production car. The parts were bound to be expensive from the get go. I guess this could impact resale values but, that only matters if you are getting rid of the car .

too true.

also, all those other manufacturers are offering financial incentives for their vehicles.

anyone see any incentives, rebates, financing deals on the S2000?

Didn't that decline start about the time AHM went with a 2.2l engine (while the rest of the world stuck with the award winning 2.0l engine)?
