Default New roof, new noise

Hi. Ever since I got my roof replaced under warranty, there has been a new noise coming from the new roof.

It sounds like a BB rolling back and forth above the windshield every time I take a sharp corner. I'm sure this is something simple. What is this noise and what can I do about it?

Your latches?

Do you hear sound when you put the top down in say, an under ground parking lot, while driving?

Underground parking lots are best for that kinda diagnostics

No, this is only a top up noise. Thanks for the reply, by the way. I don't think it's a latch issue because it's literally a rolling noise like a BB rolling from one side of the windshield to the other.

If you read some of the top discussions, there is mention of drilled out rivits being left inside the top frame and causing noise.

Thanks, do these rivets roll around in the front windshield area and is this only a top up noise?

Woah I have the same exact problem. My top had been replaced and when I make sharp turns it sounds like a BB rolling from side to side right above or in front of my head in the convertible top.

wouldn't rivets be aluminum ? If yes magnet won't work. But then again I'm a noob and don't know what the rivets on the s are made out of.

it's rivets moving around inside the frame of the top...take the end caps off and try to blow it out with something.

Thanks for all the help. Can anyone describe or show a pic of where the end caps are? I have a pretty strong blower so it should be easy to blow them out.
