Hello friends
I have recently purchased a 2003 Suzuka blue S2000. I traded a 2002 Volks Passat and some coin to purchase the car. The Passat was a fair car but the dealer support was a travesty. Everything I read I new this would be the car for me and after driving I new the Passat was history.19,000 miles and very good condition. I now really like the body color and have to admit the blue interior is growing on me. Maybe it is just such a rush I wouldn't care if it had orange interior. I presently own a 1995 Integra with a header, exhaust and a cold air intake and have to say the thing that impressed me the most is the handling. The shifter, motor also are much better in the S but the handling destroys the Integra. Well my question is I will store this unit 4 to 4 1/2 months over the winter and was wondering if you have any suggestions on storage. I am switching to synthetic oil, new Honda trans fluid, the differential fluid that is strongly recommended and all body care products. Should I put the car on jack stands for 4 months or just leave on the tires for the next spring. Yes I live in Wisconsin and will not be driving from December to April.

I live in Wisconsin as well. I change the oil, wash it, and park it. This will be the
6th winter I have had the car. In the Spring I charge the battery and check the
tire pressures. Many will no doubt disagree with these minimal procedures, and
the additional steps they recommend are certainly worthwhile, if you feel the need.

Popeye, this is the second winter that I will be pulling down the car. Last year I just went off the Owners Manual recommendations which are good, but not as thorough as yours.

If no one else does I would like to say "thank you" for posting so thorough. I'll be book-marking this page for future use!!!

What is the point of putting carpet under the tires?

What is the point of putting the tranny in reverse? Wouldn't it be better to let the springs stay centered and block the wheels?

Kenosha WI. Thanks to all for the positive ideas and I will start on Popeyes list in about 3 weeks. It looks like hardtopguy handles all the important fluids so I will order soon.I haven't seen to much input on the upkeep of the canvas convertible top.Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Check out the Wash and Wax forum. Raggtopp and 303 both make great products to protect vinyl convertible tops. I personally chose Raggtopp since it was a bit cheaper and I think it works better.
