New leather owner's manual case prototype in next week
#62
Rick,
Wasn't going to ask but if your making a leather cover for the owner's manual maybe you would consider making a leather 'insert' for the cupholder?
I currently store loose change for toll's and the rattle drives me crazy. My thoughts were a shallow cup which would fit in the cupholder 'well' but would still allow the cover to close. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Michael

I have the final prototype, which is beautifully made. I plan to post pictures on Wednesday, when my son brings it down to North Carolina, where my wife and I are on vacation for a week.
Problem is, in my and Jame's judgment the price quoted by the manufacturer is too high. The thing would end up costing almot as much as a console cover. So until we can get the price down, we're not ready to offer it just yet.

Actually, Wilson's (the one in all the airports) makes a black leather bag that fills the bill. It's a soft sided item that's sold at a good price. I have on and use it when I travel in the S2K.

THansk for the update Rick. Hope the ride to the Murrell's Inlet fish retaurants was fun! ( You did go, didn't you?) Shrimp boat in Salter Path is ok as well, and Tony's Sanitary Fish market in Morehead City has been in business forever.

Despite Rick's best efforts this has dragged out far too long!
Could it be organized to have a Group Buy on the Australian S2000 Owners Manual Cases (perhaps Muz could help out) and sell them through Rick?
When I saw a photo of the Australian Cases, way back when, they looked fine to me and I think they even had the "H" Honda Logo on the front.
