We'll have the prototype for the leather owner's manual case in hand some time next week. Pictures and details will be posted at that time.

Believe it or not, I've been waiting for a decent S2000 Owner's Manual Case ever since I picked up my car.

I couldn't (and still can't) believe the S2000's Manual came in a cheap paper folder.

Having the VIN # on a leather manual case is going to make it really outstanding -- I can't wait!

You got a paper folder? Mine came in a ziploc bag, seriously it says ziploc on it. Yellow and Blue makes Green

I find that the pocket on the back of the passenger seat works well for storage. All you need to do to get the manual is tilt the seat forward and slide it out. I'm hoping that the leather case will be trim enough to allow it to fit in that location.

You guys got a zip lock bag and/or paper folders? Mine was just handed to me with nothing, nada! Sits inside my house.

Guess Honda wanted to 'save weight' with this item as well! damn, they just should have produced it on CD rom!

I never understood why everyone was anxious to get a case for their owners manual until reading that it was just handed to you.

Mine was given to me inside a fitted Honda blue vinyl pouch with business card pockets and the dealers name printed on the outside. They collected the business cards of all the sales and services managers as they walked me around the dealership introducing me to everyone. Placed all the cards in the pouch with all the owners manuals (stereo, alarm, etc.).

I keep that in the pocket behind the drivers seat. In the optional seatback pocket I keep a matching larger vinyl wallet they gave me that had different maps of the city, state and region.

Some dealers are obviously better with the details than others.

But then again it's only cheap vinyl. I look forward to seeing Rick's leather version.
