[QUOTE=ruexp67,Mar 22 2005, 02:26 PM] If you are planning to drag race the car, save your $2500.

Why doesnt any body ever buil a custom ram air to thers stock air box?
For my audi (hope it sells soon so i can get an s2000 } you can build a cheap ram air to the bottom the air box. This mod has most its gains in the 30mph+ range while hitting a pressure wall at about 80mph, i guess people have actually measured up tp 2-3 psi in pressure coming into it...... Do u guys thinks this may work?

not very effective imo. the snorkles are probably the best bet with s2k. its kinda like this ram air concept you speak of.

That AEM V2 is a questionable choice. Save the $2500 for a new engine when you hydrolock yours like many others this last year. I'd be willing to bet there were over a dozen engines lunched with that intake. Do you still want it?

yes water and hydrolock is another issue. depends if you are planning to drive the car in wet conditions or not.

Supposedly CAI and most bolt ons for the s2k don't really add anything, and you lose power often. I've read that a dyno test shows that the AEM V2 gives 2 hp.
