25,900 would be a starting point for me. That car will be 2yrs old in a couple of months(5/07 build date). The great thing is you would get a full 3yr factory warranty if it isn't titled yet. Someones going to get a great deal on that one....
So what would you offer on something like that? I was thinking 23k or something, but I dunno not really sure what's low balling anymore in today's market. It seems like cars aren't selling, but most dealers don't wanna budge from their price.

I can't believe they dropped so much. I remember when some places had them above sticker for 45-ish.

I've called twice and the same salesperson picks up and tries to convince me the price is $39k - $10k = $29k. Im fed up with dealing with that dude so hats off to anyone that can get another salesman. i don't remember his name though.

Thanks phaphapho i appreciate your prompt responses and the lead.

If its an 07 still on the lot, id start at $20k and work up. Im about to head to a dealership now to do the same thing.

Makes me want to get a CR and make it a Type S like the ones from Japan. Could the motors and soft top be installed easily into a CR or are the modifications too crazy?

Also what sound deadening material did the Honda take out for the CR? I mean this in the sense that, is it possible to just put in some dynamat to replace the materials taken out?

I know a guy that picked up a new white CR a few weeks ago for 27K. They are out there at great prices.

Well, im going in to show them how serious i am about it. I've got a price in mind and several talking points so i should be ok. My parents will be there too so they are my backup. I've seen them bring salesmen to tears after negotiations.

Btw, i just got a call from a manager at that dealership. Lets see what happens.
