Default New CR for $27,000 at local dealer

I stopped by my local Honda dealer yesterday to see what they had in the way of S2000s. No normal models, new or used, and only one CR, new on the showroom floor. Black with both AC and radio. MSRP somewhere in the $37,000 range but had a big sign in the windshield that said that the price had been reduced by $10,000. Seems like a great deal if anyone is interested, it is the Honda dealership in Knoxville, TN. The CR has been sitting there for months so they are obviously highly motivated to sell.

Yes there are still leftover 07s in several areas but they tend to have 100-300 miles on them. That CR is a steal, i would have already made the deal if i wasn't looking for a base. BTW, is this rusty wallace or westside?

I don't think I can link directly but scroll down to honda's and it's at the bottom. It is not used btw even though it's in their used section. I dunno what would you guys offer for a left over '07?

You'd better get in-writing that they'll do a thorough inspection. Cars that sit for that long are bound to need some cleanup and/or maintenance.

25,900 would be a starting point for me. That car will be 2yrs old in a couple of months(5/07 build date). The great thing is you would get a full 3yr factory warranty if it isn't titled yet. Someones going to get a great deal on that one....

It is at the West Side dealership. Only blemish is a few scratches on the passenger side where it looks like someone screwed up while attempting to install the top. They looked like they would buff out. Otherwise it seemed like a great deal waiting for someone. The salesman was following me like a hawk as I looked at it. It has easily been there for half a year or more. They also used to have a blue CR but somehow they sold it.
