Hey Thanks for the messages guys. I appreciate those that replied in a helpful manner!
In reply to the messages about defending the s2000. I think some members confused my question- I want to buy a s2k because ever since they came out; I've been a die heart fan! I can sacrifice luxury and size.
About a used s2000. I wouldn't mind it but I just dont like the fact of having a used car... What should I look out for when searching for a used s2k? Also, what year should I buy? Whats the difference b/w 01, 02, 03, ,04, etc sk2's...?
...I'll be going to test drive one.
Thanks guys,
I'll keep you posted.

My experience with the S2K has been more than I've expected. I didnt need to ask anyone to help with my decision. Do some research on you own and see what you think of it. Dont let others push your decision on what to do. If you dont know much about the S2k, I dont think its for you.

2000 - 2001 is the original with the plastic window for the rear (horrible!), 2002-2003 has the glass window, 2004-2005 has the 2.2L, different bumper (front/rear), LED taillights, more stable suspension, and 17" wheels. 2006-2007 has different 17" wheels, drive by wire throttle, vehicle brake stability assist. As far as I kjnow.
As for the color schemes, they vary by year...

I can tell you about two of them. I just sold a G35 sedan and bought an s2000.
G35, big, comfy, soft, quiet, quick/fast but no rocket, healthy appetite for premium fuel, expensive service, lots of options/gizmos, too many safety type electronics that soften the driving experience.
s2000, tiny, fast but again.. no rocket, a little better on fuel, much more involved with actual driving, firm ride, storage room for 1 credit card, much more fun.
I honestly can't say one is better than the other because they are so different.
