New car - alignment question
So I've been reading that the S2K comes with bad alignment from the factory. Should I just take mine to the stealership and have them check on the alignment. Would it also be covered under the warranty?

Yes, tell them you think it might be pulling. For your own peace of mind, it would be good. Although my 2004 S was within Honda factory spec, the specialist adjusted it to within 1 millimeter on each side, front and rear. That is perfect.
There should be written proof that the car was aligned as part of the PDI. If not, you can ask for it.

I could add that the reason my car was being aligned in the first place was they left a spring spacer in the suspension. You should check for that, too. Believe they are removed when you can see it with your own eyes.

Fwiw, I was getting some odd rear tire wear and I felt that the car wasn't very stable in the corners.. the rear was rather "squirrely". Took it in, after about 1hr of 5 guys looking at the rear tire wear and scratching their heads, they agreed to do an alignment. Pretty much ALL specs were off, with the worst the rear toe by about -3. The rear tires were "in" too much / \ and this most likely caused the wear and terrible handling at the limit of the rear end. Once I got it aligned, it handles like night and day.

For the first year and under 13k miles, alignments are covered under Honda's warranty. I had issues with the alignment on my car and had 4 alignments in the first year! 3 of which Honda paid for. Sometimes they don't torque everything correctly, and living in Boston, the roads just throw off the alignment quick.
If you are going in to have it checked, sit in the car while they do it.

Moses, did you find that the alignment went off a lot subsequently? It seems like my car doesn't handle as well as it did 6 weeks ago after the alignment.. and I seem to be getting more rear end "steering" while hitting bumps on a straight path.
