i ordered a purolator filter from pepboys. i forgot the price but it was cheaper than getting it from HandA after you factor in shipping.

This thread and the 'kids' in it are the reason so many of us men are not posting anymore.
Sad, the S2000 owners once had something in common....civility.

ok Smarty, I just got the Car,

Maybe you geeks have dealt with this before.
You'll get faster answers for any question (not just S2000 stuff) if you learn to fish for yourself. At least check the FAQ's and search the forums if you're unwilling to Google things before asking. It really doesn't matter what forum site you're visiting or what the topic is -- that's proper forum etiquette as it keeps any forum site from having a poor signal to noise ratio from threads constantly asking the same questions that have been answered endless times before.

LMGTFY.com wouldn't even exist if this wasn't such a rampant problem on every forum site out there.

Yea, the guy who suggested buying a CAI if you were considering buying a 130$ Air Filter is rude

And yet, a forum such as S2ki should be a excellent source to not only find where to purchase parts, but what kind of experience one should expect.

For example, I'll third the notion that HandA is an excellent vendor to purchase OEM parts/accessories with decent prices and fantastic service. You won't necessarily find that kind of information from a Google search. And not that HandA is the only place to buy, but I certainly didn't see it in the first page of that Google search.

However, S2ki has increasingly gotten overrun with bullsh!t such as the immature bickering in this very thread, that it makes it harder and harder to search for a relevant and accurate information.

I like the drop-in K&N I've used for years. Buy two, so that as one dries, you have the other to drive immediately.
