Default New AEM V2 Intake for F22C Coming Soon?

I just got off the phone with AEM and they said a new V2 should be released in the next few months specifically for the F22C. He said the current one available will physically fit, but it's not "optimized" for the F22C.

I was going to order up an AEM V2 and wanted to clarify if there is only 1 part number, and that was what I was told.

I really don't see what they'd change. That being said, I already have a V2 on my F22C.

I'm not too sure either, but I was curious so I went to Comptech's site and they list 2 p/ns for their Icebox, one for '00 - '03, and the other for '04.

If you look, the dyno they have on aempower.com for the S2000 is for the 2004.

http://www.aempower.com/pdf/dyno/24-6104%2...o%20Numbers.pdf

Note the redline @ 8300rpms, and the top which says 2004 S2000.

I have the V2 for my '04 already too, don't know what the difference would be if they re-designed it.

Yup, I've noticed that in the past as well.

I just called again , and this time some guy said that it *may* be possible for them to produce a V2 specifically for the F22C, but he's not sure. And he couldn't agree with what the other guy said.

This is because the '04 has an extra horn... so Comptech had to modify their intake to fit the '04 properly
