It makes sense, but our Ring gear is so small compared to GM, FORD, etc. Side by side (GM to Honda) the 4.57 gear will still have smaller teeth. Richmond has been making gears for NHRA, NASCAR for a number of years with a number of the top teams still using their stuff. These guy (Richmond) only make gears and they warrenty them too.

Would there be any benefit to cryo treating these gears? Or is that unnecessary?
