My impression thus far, is pretty different from what I expected. I haven't really noticed any improvement in partial throttle acceleration in the lower gears at all, but it is very impressive (and enjoyable) on the highway. The revs don't bother me nearly as much as I expected, and being able to drop down to 5th instead of 4th to make a quick pass is great. I never liked downshifting from 6th to 4th, because I was fearfull of hitting 2nd, but now 5th is powerfull enough that I don't need 4th. The other noticeable change is how much easier it is to get going from a stop. Since my clutch is so weak, it was getting difficult to get going smoothly with the stock gears.

I haven't "dropped the hammer" yet, so I can't comment on their full potential.

I happen to be one of the four to receive one of the first gear sets and was just wondering when I could expect them to come in? Or when you could expect them to ship?
Thanks,
Chadd

They will not ship until the end of January, Richmond tells us. We are trying to speed up the schedule, so I will update as we have news.
