New 04 S2000 - Steam coming from vents with A/C on
I was driving home on I-95 yesterday with the A/C on and about once a minute or so a puff of steam/condensation was coming out of the A/C vents. It was about 95 degrees and 95% humidity yesterday. Is this normal?? I've never seen a car do that before.

I've seen this very problem on passenger jets (makes the passengers nice and jumpy when they see it) and in a Ford Tarus rental.
The common factor: Both were in the Gulf Coast (New Orleans and Biloxi), during 95F summer weather and practically 100% humidity.
When the warm, humid air that is carrying all the water vapor it can at a given temperature gets cooled, the water vapor condenses out of the cooler air and forms a fog. Let it run long enough and it'll coat all the windows in the car with dew.

mine have all done it.
My S did it today. The AC works by blowing air through what looks like a radiator (but instead of hot coolant, the freon flows through it. On hot/humid days, this gets water all over it, kinda like a cold drink on a hot day. The air blows through it and carries some of that condensation with it.) no biggie!
