Parked next to a late model silver accord coupe at the movie theatre the other day. When I got (crawled) out of the car I noticed the door handles on the Accord. Hummm... I've seen that before somewhere!

Yup...and the styling line that runs across the upper part of our doors...the Accord's got that too!

Honda loves to share their parts among their cars (I guess that's how they make them affordable). Especially the interior switches, buttons, latches, handles, etc.

I've noticed that the maplights in my 94 prelude are the same as those in an NSX which are also the same as those in the final model year Legends.

Most manufacturers share the same parts bin across their ranges of cars.
If it makes my car more affordable I'm all for it.

True, but I noticed the S2000 shares less parts than previous hondas. Most of the interior stuff looked pretty unique to me except for the stereo of course.

Have you ever seen the Honda Insight? IT has almost the same exact interior as the S2K, with a few changes to the instrument cluster and the aircon stuff.

I have a friend that swears the inside door handles are the exact same as his previous civic hatch.

I always wonder...if that's true, then why can't anyone ever figure out how to get out of my car!? I swear, I'm going to put instructions on the passenger-side door.

The Accord door handles might look the same, but I doubt they feel the same. Our door handles seem pretty thin and cheap. Everytime I open the car, I feel like I can break them.
