Post Neuspeed Sport Springs

Just ordered a set of Neuspeed Sport Springs for my '06 S2000. I thought about getting some coilovers, but I'd like to stay in the stock class for autocrossing (SCCA) as long as possible so springs it is!

If youre serious about autox-ing your car, I think you'll find that the Neuspeeds are considerably worse than your oem set up.

Why do you say that? Is there another set of springs that I should have bought? H&R? Eibach?

Ghetto setup & your cheaping out...changing just the springs makes handling worse, you must do the struts at the same time or get a good set of CO's. Might as well cut the stock springs. Like bkw said, the stock setup is better.

Not sure where you are coming from. Neuspeed makes some of the best suspension products. If you are referring to the setup itself (simply changing out the springs), irregardless of brand name, then I could possibly see what you are talking about.

I am always amazed people don't even give OEM shocks and springs a few more months before they swap for a mismatch spring and shock setup.

I guess, to some people, slamming the car is more important than actually improving the handling then.

Bling yo!

Changing the springs only compromises the performance of OEM shocks. OEM shocks are not designed to be used with lowering springs. Dampening and rebound rates are crap not to mention the shortening of their lifespan. Try it, you will quickly realize that you will need to change those struts. I speak from experience and for others who have done the same.

A good setup would be H&R springs with Koni Red or Yellows. But then you might as well pay a little bit more for a set of Buddy Club Coil-overs.

Good luck
