I paid 28G for my S2k it came equipped with 1 comptech supercharger AND 1 Neuspeed Exhaust.

The exhaust may not add performance but it sure does add to the intimidation factor. Big bark to follow up on the big bite.

 

I agree with xviper...there is a resonate sound arond the 4k range, loud but not unpleasent.

DaveT is right, at VTEC the stock exhaust sounds fine, but sitting at a light or crusing down the street at 3K - 5K it sounds like the 4-banger it is. With the Neuspeed exhaust, that deep gutteral growl in the low RPM's will turn the heads as you pull up.

Colombino...you are on the money with loud bark, since we hung the Neuspeed a lot less Mustang GT's want to play now, which is good....why waste time on a run thas not worthy of this fine beast of ours

 

One of our local SD owners has the Neuspeed exhaust. We met up on our way to Lancaster last night and cruising through town it does sound sweet.

My question is, what are the differences between the versions? Code3Smith said his was v3.0? Can you please give me some details on what that means?

I just bought my s2000 last week. It came with the Neuspeed exhaust. I've never heard a stock exhaust, but I'd say the Neu. sounds very good. I do get a slightly boomy resonance at around 75mph in 6th. Not bad though. Shifting to 5th solves the problem anyhow.
At high rpm the thing really does scream. I find myself involuntarily shifting into 1st or 2nd everytime I go under an overpass just for the sound.
