I got the Neuspeed for several reasons:
1. The stock exhaust makes the car sound just like any other Japanese 4 banger.

No....

I have the money to burn, I'm looking for a good reason to do it. More noise? OK fine. Not enough of a reason. More HP? Not really. Better looks? Not really. Cheaper than stock? I don't think so.

While the Spoon exhaust isn't the most aesthetically pleasing of all the exhausts (I'm not a fan of the single outlet when there are cutouts for two pipes), the sound is absolutely amazing, IMO.

Xviper,

Dun mean to start any flames here... but I totally agree with your last post. =D

So, anyway, I wanted to ask you... does the Neuspeed exhaust create any resonating in the cabin at certain low rpms?
I used to have an ES Tuning exhaust on my 325i and it sounded absolutely mean from the outside, but inside.. at 2500 rpm the cabin would ring and the low bass sound would resonate in my ears. I'm actually fine with that, but my passengers have complained. So, now I have a Supersprint exhaust and it is must less noisier.. which sometimes I hope was a little louder. So, having said all that.. which doesn't really pertain to anything important, I was just wondering if the Neuspeed does that a little bit... I did download all these vid clips of SteveUCI and have listened to his Neuspeed exhaust from inside his car.. but I dun think it's an accurate representation of the sound since my subwoofer created a resonance sound in my room.. haha.

What's your opinion?

Tks,
Jimmy

Xviper,

Thanks for the response.

Did the exhaust resonante enough to ever give you or the passenger a headache?

Also, curious, how do you get used to the S2000 coming from the Viper??? The Viper is such a muscele car with tons of torque.. the S2000 is by no means a torque monster.. do you miss the low end torque?

I was at Texas World Speedway during summer time and saw a red Viper with chrome forged wheels... it looked SOOO nice!!!
I'm back in upstate NY now.. getting cold.
