Need your honest opinion on painted calipers...

Why would you want to draw someones eyes away from the beautiful lines of the S2K?
Why would you want to copy someone else?
... And they potentially will burn with a hard track day, and its something else to try and keep clean.
I can see powercoating black, but thats about it... but why even bother?

Within the next few years, all performance cars with be sold with the calipers painted, plated, or powder coated. It will become a stock item.
The people doing it now are the pace setters, IMHO, and hardly Rice. The rest of the world will follow.

Actually the stock calipers on the car are treated to prevent rust.. you will notice none of them are rusted. But IMO it is not an attractive finish and does get even dingier when exposed to track heat. Most any finish looks better than the original.

i have a blue and was thinking about painting them some color.. but i don't know which one... i was thinking the silver.. but maybe not... now that i have seen the red... i know to take that out of the running.. 
it seems to stand out too much...

Clear the fronts or loose the sides......then decide on any color but red for the calipers. It's not a Porsche! Spoon calipers are blue........one step above Red BUFFUGLY....both.....listen to CD. This kind of "cheap" talk from a moderator. BAD S2K's S2000 is very sweet. You have to show some respect here and lead by example. Don't patronize someone by stating "No offense bro but your car looks hideous." That's just nonsense. Of course someone would be offended! It's their car and their money, time and sweat went into that car! And don't even get me started on the whole Ronald McDonald statement! Geez!

What do you guys think....
I am thinking on painting my calipers Yellow with black s2000 decals of black with yellow decals??? I think the yellow might be too much (unless is a brembo caliper) so i am going more with the Black paint and yellow decal.
