Suzuka blue and red, huh? Sounds weird.

I painted my calipers red, but my car is silver. The only three colors on the car are red, silver and black. I think the calipers look decent. People I've asked seem to like them...

Maybe it's just me, I can see painting calipers red on silver, black, or white cars...but not blue, yellow, or red. Sorry.

in my humble opinion - the standard calipers don't look anything special from a shape point of view - so I would not really want to highlight them - but I like the concept of bright brakes. I have a shared underground garage and my apartment neighbour has the real thing on his Porsche Carerra - I'm sure it would cause him some amusement if I got the paint brush out.

Personally, I love my black powder coated calipers and would reccomend black for any car. They always look clean too!

I would also consider getting the Monte Carlo blue on my silver, and on your blue

painted calipers is a must and should be done on the first day you get the car ...people who think it is "ricey" and that it does not look good are too lazy to do it

I was also considering painting mine red; but did not because I don't think the calipers are display-worthy. If they were beefy, sure. They would have peeked nicely though the 5-spoke rims. But these are rather small and unimpressive. In fact, aren't these the same as the ones on the '99-00 Si? (I painted those white, against the Electron blue... nice combo IMO).

I painted mine white, no problems to report. Actually one problem, its probably the single worst color to keep clean.
