Need to use my clutch up!
Ok, the Dealer has given me the O.K. to fix my clutch Buzz TSB... along with the Spark Plug recall...
I've got about 23 days until my warranty expires... and if my clutch disk is going to be replaced, what am I safe on doing as far as racing goes?
I'm not stupid, so I don't want to hurt the actual transmission... I was thinking more like launching practice... nothing more than 5k dumps and slips. Should I be fine with this, if done on an occasional basis for the next 15 days or so before I take it in?

I'm not sure the risk of damaging the rear diff is worth "using up your clutch" for. Besides 5k is worse on it than 7-8k launches, b/c the rear wheels will not spin. No wheel spin=trouble for weak diff.

So once you get the 5K launch down, will you use your new talent to beat on your new clutch? I'd say just ride it really hard sometime & see how bad a smell you can get out of it, maybe on the way to the dealer.

Don't bother, you don't want to weaken the diff or Trans and have them go on you just as soon as your warranty expires.
Just make sure they put the car on the lift properly while doing the clutch . Mine was damged in the process.
