Need s2000 owners help
Hey all, first post. Been searching these forums for a few days and decided to join. I am an ex civic owner who went and bought a GTI. Dumb Dumb decision to lease it and am stuck. Oh well. Anyways I am thinking about getting an s2k at years end and haven't decided yet on what to get, new or used. It seems based on some comments that I have read that as of 2004 there were some changes. I drove a 2001 before and loved it, loved the 9000 red line and just loved the feeling of the car. ( At that point I was wishing I drove an S2k before I bought the GTI. )
What should I look for in these cars? Preference is to buy one stock, but some mods are ok like exhaust suspension wheels. What are the differences between 2003 and earlier and 2004 and later. Anyone who went from a 2003 and earlier to a 2004 or older please chime in on which you liked better and why. The only visible differences are the front bumper looks different and wheels. I also prefer black or white with all red interior, which means used but I like the idea also of having a brand new car. Please help and thanks in advance.
