Thumbs down Need Recommendation for a S2000 Mechanic

I'd appreciate recommendations for a good mechanic somewhere near Redwood City, California. (Between San Francisco and San Jose)

If you've had good experience with a Honda dealer in the area, that would be okay too, but I'd prefer not to go to a dealer ($$) if I don't have to.

I'm getting pretty close to the 60,000 mile mark, and would like to find someone who knows the S2000, is trust worthy and reliable.

Thanks.

Well I am currently looking for a good shop as well. The only suggestion I have is stay away from Tracy Honda and Modesto Honda. Neither one of these places knows a damned thing about cars. My most recent issue was with Tracy Honda. I took my S to them with a clutch that was just starting to slip. Now when I say just starting to slip, I mean you have to rev it to about 5k or above and dump the clutch or on the freeway at about 60 in 6th, push the clutch in a rev to 7k and release. Both tests made it slip. I informed the tech that it was just starting top slip and explained to him how I knew, then I told him that I had a road trip planned and wanted it replaced before I leave. The next day I get a call from the tech saying that the clutch was fine, What? After arguing about it for a while he agreed to put his "most expireienced tech in the car" and see what he says. The next day, same thing. Your car is fine! So day three I go down there and take a tech for a ride. I perform the slip on the freeway and he says "Holy shit! Is that your Clutch?!" I said, its either that or my tires really suck! We pull back in to the dealership and get the paperwork started and they said they would have it done in a few days. Day 5. I get a call from the dis-service department telling me that they are sorry but the quoted me $2100 and that was wrong. It should be $2800. At this point I am furious! Leave my car alone! I will be there in 20 min to pick it up. I ended up buying a Cusco clutch and flywheel combo from Modacar ( great people by the way) and doing the job myself that weekend.

Wouldn't it make more sense to post this in the Bay Area local forum?
