Default Need a new bumper:(

Where can I get a new bumper at a good price?
My wife destroyed the front bumper running into an icebox in the middle of the highway.

I looked at our sponsored, but no one seem to carry stock bumper. (which looks the best IMO)

I had a little fender bender and had the dealer replace it for $685.00 installed and painted. Looks brand new.

even if you find a good deal on the bumper, the shipping will cost too much to ship it so getting it from your local dealer will be the best option for you.

The best Honda parts place I have dealt with on the East Coast is at Hondaautomotiveparts.com (Majestic Honda). Of course there is shipping, and painting, etc. etc. At least you will know the list and discounted parts price.

WOW!!!

The OEM bumper that was replaced on my car cost the bodyshop $190...they charged $115 to paint it. After that, I could have just mounted the bumper myself...unfortunately they hd to do other repair so they went ahead and installed it for me.

But my point is, see if you can't get a better deal, and just do the front bumper install yourself (it's tres, tres easy)...as long as there's no other damage.

Either way, it would be more than 500 bucks <= insurance deductable. So, should I really care how much the insurance company will pay in difference? Probably not...but I do care about workmanship...and whether the insurance company would pay that difference. In fact, if they would cut me a check, maybe I can get the top secret bumper......even though I like the stock one more.
Either way, I would definitely shop around, just in case anything happens with insurance.

Does anyone know if the alarm's shock sensor is around that area?
Tapping on that bumper seems to trigger the alarm now.
