need a key copy for my s2000~!
so i recently bought a s2k and it was a pretty good deal at a dealer ship
but they just had one master key.
no door lock/unlock from a remote or anything.
just one key... so i need at lest another key just in case i lose the key i have now.
so does anyone know where i can get another copy?
does any honda dealer ship work? and how much do they charge?

the op said it didn't come with any remotes...
Im sure the "brain" is still there but how much is it to get a replacement remote from honda?
edit: mine doesn't have a "factory alarm", its just keyless entry..

I have a brand new OEM keyless entry fob and OEM honda key (uncut) that the dealership provided me with.
The fob retails for $123 but can be found online for $89

The key retails for $97 but can be found online for $70

You will have to confirm that these 2008 version will work but I will sell both for $125 if you are interested.

Do older S2k's have different keys, because there is no way home depot is cutting a key like mine.
I'd be very surprised if they can even program a chip. Granted it's been five or six years, but back when I worked at Lowe's they could only cut common keys with no chip.

It's not only about different keys (master and valet), but the older S2Ks have standard keys (with chip) and the newer ones have the "sidewinder" keys (also with chip). The later keys are more expensive to have cut, both types need to be programmed to your car's immobilizer.
