Need help selecting a car cover
I need some help determining which car cover to get. I have an '03 with the front OEM spoiler. The main purpose of the cover will be to protect my car just in case my son gets loose in the garage. I usually don't drive the car on days when it's going to rain, but I'd also like to have it just in case I misjudge the weather (it has never been rained on). I'd like one that light, easy to deploy, has 0 chance of scratching/damaging the paint, preferable doesn't say "S2000" or "Honda", can be folded down to a small size rather easily, won't mold, isn't too expensive, etc. I tried a search and couldn't find anything useful. I also tried searching the internet, but was really overwhelmed by the amount of information and number of choices. So, I figured that some of you would be able to cut through all the junk and tell me what I need to lay down my $$$ on.

THis is a good qustion, one I am starting to think about too. I have no worries with the car in the garage, but I do want to cover it over the winter.
Mabey we can come up with a summary of the options in covers, and their stong/weak suits and post it here. If the info is good I would definatly reccomend making it "sticky."

I use the oem cover. A little expensive (paid about $160), but i think it is worth it. Perfect fit for the car, easily folded to put into trunk, and still fits with the oem front spoiler (its a little tight). Repels rain too, but does get wet on the outside which makes it a little heavy at times. Comes with a nice carry bag when cover is not in use. It does have the "s2000" logo on the front though.

i think that the honda cover is what you need...
it is more like a dust cover, but it is really well padded.
mine is almost always on my car when parked, and in 3 years i have exactly 0 dings, largely due to the cover.

I have 2 covers, the Weathershield and the Dustop. The Weathershied is only used if I'm traveling and need to cover the car. It is extremely weather resistant and folds up very small but has no padding to protect against bumps. The dustop is used in the garage, is nicely padded, very soft but would not offer much protection against the weather and is quite bulky. I could not find one cover that combined weather protection, bump protection (padding) and folded up nice and small.

Go here www.carbytes.com you can do comparisons on all types of covers. I got the Noah and it fits all your criteria except for the size issue, a little bulky. You'll need to give on something because you can't get everything in one cover.
