i'm just ball-parking this figure from what i've read (and personally know from my local club), but i'd say 90% of the people on this forum change ever 3-5k miles, with full synthetic.
I definitely do not change that often as it is not needed at all but it seems like most people do. Hell synthetic oil can really be changed every 15-20k and be perfectly fine!

What about the suspension? I don't know much on the topic of suspension, so I am posing the question: How does the suspension hold up over 100k? Does it need a "refresh" (maybe with CR parts )

You already have an '03 and you want an '01 too??
I know a couple people that have 100+k miles on their cars and they are definatly worth that asking price.

There is something kinda forboding about a car with 100k on the dial but in many cases this is all mental. When I bought my new S , I was driving my 91' Celica GT witch had 90+k on the odo and was still running like new. I decided not to even try to trade because I felt I would get nothing even close to value with this 15 year old car. I still have it and its now pushing 108k and still runs perfect.
I used this as an example because if the price is right and you are confident in the condition, you can be buying into a simular value as my GT..
My word of caution though, as with any two seater, many of these cars have led a rough life but/and at the same time ,many have been pampered. Common sense and perhaps a second opinion before buying anything (particulary a high milage car) is the way to go.
