Lol read Op's post guys! Not ap2 "it cannot be nothing custom (ap2 headlights with yada yada)", he drives an AP1!

From reading his post it looks like he said nothing custom like ap2 headlights with....
Never mentions no AP2 headlights in general.

I don't know the requirements to mod the ap2 to ap1, and the shop would be required to do it which is $30/hr labor and all, but he could see if it was in his budget.
Edit: At least I assume, why can't you get used headlights OP? Can't the insurance write you a check?

AP2 is plug and play assuming you'll be buying ballasts and ignitors as well. With AP2 headlight you can easily sell/trade for JDM AP1's in the future.

Hmm looks cheaper for AP2? Looks like unit assembly is listed as "CONTROL UNIT" on the AP2 which is one of the major costs
