I had the exact problem for a while until I put some of my dog's hair on the hood of the car...The cat stayed away and when i saw it 2 weeks later, i actually ran it over.....worked out great....payback is a bitch cat!! get rid of it soon, it will start sliding down the car and leave claw scratches on the paint...they also step in dirt and stain the convertable top...i have small stains on the back...kill it!! kill it!! trust me!!

I have considered waiting for that dam cat and try to scold it with hot water. Any other suggestions......
Freezing cold water is more gentile and the cat will get the hint too. It's a cheap Plan A at least.

Also, take a picture of the cat on your car and sue the owner for damages in small claims court. The owner of the cat may want to keep the cat indoors if he's going to be sued. Just the hassle of going to court, etc... is enough to keep the cat inside...

Woke up this morning to see if the cat repellant had worked and it DID!!!!! For now, at least Unfortunately the smell (of the repellant) will dissipate, leaving me with an option to just put chicken-wire around the carport. The car is wax so I don't think that will help much.....any suggestions???

just put a pitcher of water in the fridge. when he's sleeping come out and splash him with it. it wont hurt the cat. it wont hurt the car. its a win win situation.

you can put a little amonia in it. cats hate it because they think its piss. cats hate piss.

hey, thats another idea. just piss on him. its two for one because you are marking your territory at the same time.

if you do something inventive, it allways helps to get video.

another idea, just throw a firecracker in his general direction and scare him.

still, water is the best

fly paper would certainly piss him off, but he might smear it all over the top. that would suck to clean.

maybe lay out strips of duct tape. same effect, but it shouldnt hurt the s

Mothballs (the smell that is) will apparently scare cats off. The only other nice alternative I would suggest is the garden hose.

Might as well use this to your advantage. Apply a coat of wax when you park your car, when you awake the next morning hopefully Fluffy will have buffed it to a nice shine.

Oh, and scaring the cat off your car is not a good idea. Cats have sharp claws.
