Default Need Help: Check Engine Light

Hey guys,

My S2K is a week old with 400 miles. She has been sitting in the garage for past two days and this morning, when I start her up, I notice Check Engine Light and didn't go off.

Anyone had this problem with so little miles?

Check the gas cap. Went to the gas station, fill her up, and make sure I had few clicks.

Also check the oil level and oil's fine.

Any idea? I know I can take her in tomorrow (Monday) but just wonder if anyone had this problem. She seems run normal.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you have a bad O2 sensor or something. On a car that new just take it in. Why even bother messing with it. It come be something stupid, it might not. They should just be able to plug her and and find out quick.

Try letting it run for a few mins. for the fuel pressure to build up.
If the light is still on maybe your gas cap is bad.
Or other problems.

Check your gas cap again. It will click before it is fully seated.

You can also disconnect the batter to reset the computer after you check the cap.

OK. I've search this board and found the way to reset the Check Engine Light. Now the light is gone. I hope it was just a glitch. I figure if the light comes back, then I will take her in.

Thanks guys for replying.
