Default Need help buying s2k

Hello fello s2k lovers,
I am highly interested in buying an s2000 and i have nerrowed it down to two. But I need some help figuring out which one is better so if someone can please help me out that would be greatly appreciated. First off is a 2008 honda s2000. 85,000 miles, Lighly modified to be a track car. Mods include headers, some cheap ugly exhaust, coilovers, mugen hardtop, brand new softtop, front lip and possibly more. Downsides include many light scratches on the body, light rust starting to form under the car, control arms and fenders. No accidents and two owners. The car drives silky smooth and hear nothing bad. Otherwise the car looks mint.
The second car is a 2000 honda s2000 with 49,000 miles. Bone stock with only some black alloy rims and new tires. Also a jvc radio. Car looks super clean!! No rust no scratches not a spot. Runs great. Both dealerships are asking for $19,000 for them but said they could talk it down.

What do you guys think? Ap2 s2k modified with high miles and little beat up or mint stock ap1 s2k.
also the dealership selling the ap2 buy many high mileage cars and sell them off with little work so i am afraid if i buy it i will blow the motor or screw something up and basically pay 19k for a shell. Need some advice thanks guys!

I'm biased cause I own an AP1 but lower miles plus the 9k redline. Never understood the AP2 engine. I mean, Honda only offered it in the U.S.. That tells me they knew the original motor was better. Technically, you can go faster with the new motor but is it as much fun? I don't know. Never driven the new motor. But an AP1 with almost half the miles? I'd go that route myself.

I'd stay away from the rusty one.

I've only owned AP2s , I'd go with a clean low mile model rather than one with twice the miles and I knew it was beaten on as a track car,
