Need help authenticting HKS exhaust
Hey guys I was looking to buy an HKS exhaust and I was just wondering if on the older versions of the Hi-Power or Hyper if there is anything that should say HKS on it. I know the tips are not engraved, but is there a plaque anywhere that says HKS? I saw a plaque welded on the bottom of one of the canisters, but it said S.R. and Jazma member and some Japanese writing. Has aanyone heard of an exhaust that is a knock off HKS? Thanks in advance, any help would be nice.

the hiper was the first version, it didnt say anything on the tips, the newer HKS hi-power should say it on the tips. I just got this exhaust on my car after having the t1r 70mm. I have it on along with a t1r test pipe and the sound is AMAZING..i really dont feel much difference in power even coming from the t1r.

if it's a Hi-Power it should say Hi-Power on the muffler tip in a fancy looking font, and should also say Muffler HKS. it should have 2 holes on the sides of the muffler tips to screw in silencers. the mufflers should be polished but the pipes shouldn't be.

Thanks for the info guys. So if it is the hyper shoudl it have an HKS tag on it somewhere? And what is the deal with the Jasma plaque on the bottom of the one muffler?
EDit: Okay so I have figured out what Jasma is. Does a good used Hyper go for the same as a good used Hi-Power?

I have the Hi Power and its got hi power written on the tip as well as muffler hks and a tag at the bottom stating "made in japan". But it doesnt have any holes for silencers...does that make mine a knock off?
